Gossip: Schmeichel to United, City eye Rudiger
UNITED LINE UP MOVE FOR SCHMEICHEL
Manchester United are said to be making plans for life without David De Gea, and they supposedly centre around Kasper Schmeichel.
According to Don Balon, Jose Mourinho is eyeing up the Leicester keeper with a view to a move this summer.
Apparently, Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on the 30-year-old, which all sounds very convenient. The same report says Real may be prepared to allow United a free run at Schmeichel. What could they possibly want in return?
CITY EYE ROMA DEFENDER
Manchester City are said to be keen on a £30million deal to sign Roma defender Antonio Rudiger.
The Mirror claims City have been watching every one of the Germany’s international’s games in recent months and the Pep Guardiola is keen to commence talks over a move in the coming week.
Chelsea are said to have been close to signing Rudiger last summer before a knee injury scuppered the move. Rudiger can also play at right-back, which appeals to Guardiola, with Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabeleta both out of contract at the end of the season.
