Antoine Griezmann says there is a “six out of 10 chance” that he will join Manchester United this summer.

Griezmann has been linked with a move to Old Trafford throughout the season, and is believed to be high on Jose Mourinho’s list of transfer targets.

The Atletico Madrid forward has scored 26 goals and assisted a further 12 in 53 games in all competitions for the Spanish side, helping them reach the Champions League quarter-finals and finish third in La Liga.

The 26-year-old joined the capital club in 2014, but could well move to Manchester in the summer.

When asked about his future on French television show Quotidien, the forward replied: “I think we will know in the next two weeks.

“Manchester United? It is possible. Six out of 10 chance.”

He added that “there is a 7/10 chance” that he will stay with Diego Simeone’s side.

It is a strange change of tact from Griezmann, who has never been so open in discussing his future previously. When asked whether he understood the nature of what he had just said, he simply replied: “Yes.”
