Griffiths injury 'not serious'

Griffiths scored the opening goal for the Hoops in the fourth minute of the Scottish Premiership clash but was then forced off after suffering a knock.
Hoops boss Ronny Deila said the injury did not appear to be serious, with the reigning Scottish champions desperate not to lose the striker ahead of Wednesday’s crunch second-leg clash against Qarabag in Azerbaijan.
The Glasgow giants will travel to eastern Europe defending a narrow one-goal advantage.
Speaking after the 2-0 win over County, Deila said of Griffiths: “I don’t think it is serious.
“I think he will be back for Wednesday. It is nothing pulled – it is just a knock.
“I didn’t know if he had twisted his ankle or whatever, but it seems it is just a knock in the calf muscle and hopefully he will be ready for Wednesday.”
Meanwhile, Deila has denied reports he informed striker Anthony Stokes that he is no longer part of his plans going forward.
The Norwegian added: “I have never told Stokesy that. He is part of this team. He has to work really hard to get into the squad and into the team.
“There is big competition and there is always someone who is disappointed, and now it is Stokesy.”
