Guardiola agent: He wants Premier League job

Pep Guardiola’s agent has denied that his client has held talks with Paris Saint-Germain, insisting that the Premier League is his preferred destination.

The Spaniard is leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season and has been strongly linked with PSG, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea.

His agent Josep María Orobitg has moved to deny that talks had already begun with PSG, telling L’Equipe: “I have never spoken to the president of PSG, not recently or at any time in the past. I have had contact with his sporting director (Olivier Létang), but that was to speak about one of my players.

“We have never discussed Pep’s situation and PSG have not asked me anything about his plans.

“He hasn’t said anything to me,” Orobitg added. “In any case, it’s not something that we are considering at the moment. The Premier League is a big possibility. Pep will make a decision in two or three months’ time. Everything remains a possibility, including a sabbatical year.”
