Pep Guardiola does not rule out staying at Manchester City for the next ten years.
The former Barcelona manager only stayed at Bayern Munich for three seasons but he seems more settled at City, who are about to win the Premier League under his management.
Guardiola had previously intimated that he would only stay at City beyond his current three-year deal if he was successful.
He has now told Directv Sport: “I have discovered that [City] are a much bigger and better club than people believe it is.
“I do not rule out managing in 10 years’ time, everything will depend on how I feel and whether they love me.”
Moves to secure the long-term futures of key young players like Kevin de Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus suggest that City are prepared to invest in a long-term City project.
