Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson will miss Monday night’s clash with Leicester and is a major doubt for Saturday’s meeting with Arsenal.
Henderson sustained a foot injury on Friday in training, with scans showing that he did not suffer a broken metatarsal.
His clash with a teammate has left him with a severely bruised foot and he his place will be taken by Emre Can against champions Leicester on Monday night.
Can will retain is place for Saturday night’s clash with Arsenal unless Henderson can recover.
Apart from Mane, Henderson is probably our least-replaceable player. Sets the tone for the rest of the team. Massive blow that he's out.
