Thierry Henry has poured praise on Manchester United and France forward Anthony Martial.
Martial has enjoyed a fine start to the campaign at club level, scoring five goals and assisting six despite starting just four games.
The forward was dealt a blow last week when he was left out of France’s squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers however.
Didier Deschamps explained that the 21-year-old has not played often enough to warrant inclusion, but that he has been impressed by his fleeting displays.
Henry has added to the praise, stating that Martial is a “far better player” now than he was at 21, when he was at Monaco and Juventus.
“Anthony Martial is a far better player than I was at that age,” Henry said.
“Martial can be world class.”
