Zlatan Ibrahimovic says that Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola are “two great coaches”, but “one stimulates me more”.

Ibrahimovic has worked under both Mourinho and Guardiola before, with the Swede’s current spell under the former at Manchester United following his time with the Portuguese at Inter Milan.

He left Inter for Barcelona in 2009, spending just one year under Guardiola’s tutelage in Spain.

The 35-year-old won two trophies under Mourinho and five under Guardiola, and was asked which manager he prefers during an interview with Thierry Henry for Sky Sports.

United teammate Paul Pogba gatecrashed the chat, but did not offer an answer.

“Mourinho or Pep?” Henry asked the pair.

“Two great coaches,” began Ibrahimovic’s response. “Two different persons.

“I had the possibility to work with both of them. I won with both, but one stimulates me more than the other one.”
