Ibrahimovic agent hints at possible Serie A return
Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be heading back to Italy, according to agent and professional c*ck tease Mino Raiola.
The Sweden frontman brought down the curtain on his international career on Wednesday night after Sweden’s 1-0 defeat to Belgium.
The 34-year-old announced on Tuesday that he would retire from international duty after Eur0 2016 and last night’s defeat meant the end of Sweden’s summer jaunt and so Ibrahimovic’s time in the yellow and blue has come to an end.
Ibrahimovic still has to resolve his club future, which he said he would sort out after the tournament, and Raiola has hinted that a return to Serie A is a possibility.
“He told me where he wants to go,” Raiola told Italian TV station Mediaset Premium. “Could he go back to Italy?
“Hope is the last to die – we’ll see.”
Ibrahimovic spent seven seasons in Italy in all with spells playing for Juventus, Inter Milan and most recently AC Milan.
And while Jose Mourinho, who managed him at Inter, is desperate for a reunion at Manchester United, any prospective deal has yet to be hammered out.
Reports earlier this month claimed Ibrahimovic had agreed a one-year deal at United and had relocated to Manchester, but the player has yet to formally commit to a contract and he is believed to have several options.
Ibrahimovic, who left Milan four years ago to join Paris Saint-Germain in a deal worth around £16million, has been prolific for the French giants, scoring 156 goals in 180 appearances on his way to four league titles.
