Zlatan Ibrahimovic will finally have his medical at Manchester United ahead of a move, according to Sky Sports.
The news follows Sweden’s exit from Euro 2016 and Ibrahimovic’s retirement from international football. That leaves him free to organise his next domestic move.
Sky Sports report that personal teams between Ibrahimovic and United were agreed before the tournament by the striker’s agent Mino Raiola. All that is left is the medical.
Now 34, Ibrahimovic is set to sign a one-year deal at Old Trafford. There are not expected to be any issues with the medical, which will be a mere formality.
Chuck in Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Jose Mourinho looks intent on getting his business done before the start of August in time for the new season. Champions?
