Ighalo off to China with £20m fee agreed – reports

Watford striker Odion Ighalo is heading to China after Changchun Yatai agreed a fee of £20million for his services, according to reports.

Ighalo hasn’t reached the goalscoring heights of last term when he scored 15 Premier League goals in comparison to just one this campaign.

Sky Sports claims that a deal is done and the striker has passed his medical and there are only a ‘few final details sort out’.

This comes after manager Walter Mazzarri said on Friday that the Hornets were mulling over a “very important” offer for the striker.

Both Adlene Guedioura and Juan Carlos Paredes are thought to have interest from clubs in this transfer window and Ighalo may not be the only player on the way out of Vicarage Road.
