Everton skipper Phil Jagielka believes Ross Barkley will be a regular feature on the scoresheet for the Toffees this season.
The 21-year-old scored his first international goal for England in the Euro 2016 qualification win over San Marino on Saturday and has already scored twice in four Premier League outings.
While Jagielka does not expect Barkey to score a spectacular goal, like his two league goals, every week, he does believe his teammate can net a healthy goal return this season.
“To score two excellent goals in his first two games is great for Ross and the team,” Jagielka said at a press conference while on international duty.
“Is he going to score a ‘worldy’ every week? No. But he’s got it in his locker and I’m looking forward to a healthy contribution from this season.”
