Gabriel Jesus says that he has “spoken to” Manchester City target Dani Alves, but he gave no indication on his future.
Alves is expected to join City this summer after saying his goodbyes to current club Juventus.
Chelsea and Tottenham have also been linked with the right-back, but Alves’ relationship with Pep Guardiola is thought to be a deciding factor.
The pair worked together with great success at Barcelona, and Alves is eager to test his talents in the Premier League.
City striker Jesus says he has spoken to his compatriot, but that cards and chest were in close union.
“I spoke to him, but he didn’t specify what he’s going to do,” he told Esporte Interativo.
“We’ll see if it comes to fruition and Dani comes to City.
“I don’t know if there’s an offer but I think Guardiola can make a difference. Nothing is certain, but I hope he comes to City and we can celebrate it.”
