Romelu Lukaku: Poised to leave Everton this summer

In-demand Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has emerged as a key target in Juventus’ ‘secret’ transfer plans, according to reports in Italy.

Corriere dello Sport have said that the Belgian forward, who has previously stated his desire to win silverware, is on the Serie A champions’ summer wishlist alongside full-backs Dani Alves and Domenico Berardi, plus midfielder Miralem Pjanic.

The 23-year-old quickly became an integral part of the Everton squad following his £28m move from Chelsea in 2014 and still looks set to move on despite the imminent arrival of Ronald Koeman from Southampton.

A strong showing at Euro 2016 could also aid Lukaku’s dream of playing for a club that match his ambitions and has been in good form for Belgium, too, with four goals in his last five friendly matches. Marc Wilmots’ men begin their campaign against Italy on June 13.
