Manchester United legend Roy Keane has branded Chelsea outcast Diego Costa a “balloon”.
Costa has been frozen out at Stamford Bridge after being informed by Antonio Conte that he was no longer part of his first-team plans.
The striker was expected to return to Atletico Madrid but a move never materialised, and Costa is on strike in Brazil.
The 28-year-old is yet to return to Chelsea’s Cobham training ground and is likely to leave the club in the January transfer window.
Keane branded the striker a “balloon”. Quite why, we do not know. We think he was going for ‘buffoon’, but he reiterated “balloon” when prompted.

“They are better off without him,” Keane told ITV. “The guy is obviously big trouble.
“I know he has done well for them, but he looks to me to be a bit of a balloon. Get rid of him. Have players at your club that want to be there.”
