Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown says that Antonio Conte has revolutionised English football.
Should Chelsea win at West Bromwich Albion on Friday, they will be crowned Premier League champions in his first season in England.
Keown credits Conte for winning the league by playing three at the back, and his ability to pass on individual tactics to each player.
“What I would say is that Antonio Conte has revolutionised the Premier League,” Keown told the Daily Mail.
“He is the first manager to win the Premier League playing with three at the back.
“I actually thought Conte looked lost playing with a back four earlier in the season.
“He has such a good understanding of the back three and it is remarkable the way he has been able to pass over the tactics to every single player.
“Chelsea are so well drilled and they seem to have an answer to every situation.”
