Jurgen Klopp has issued an injury update on Daniel Sturridge, and says Adam Lallana is “a doubt” to face Norwich.
Liverpool face Norwich at Carrow Road in Saturday’s early kick-off, and Klopp has revealed that Lallana has “a little issue” and is therefore a doubt to play.
“Adam Lallana is a doubt. He has a little issue. We will have to see,” Klopp said.
The German then discussed injury-stricken striker Sturridge, the 26-year-old having been ruled out with a hamstring injury since December.
Sturridge has suffered three separate injuries this season alone, but Klopp insisted he would have “patience” with the England international on Thursday evening.
On Friday morning, Klopp added: “I am happy about other things. I can’t rush the situation. The last four days were really good, but he still needs time. There is nothing new.
“After 10 days we will see how he is and decide.”
