The Daily Mirror claim that England striker Daniel Sturridge is battling to save his Liverpool career, after just three league starts so far this season.
The paper claim that Liverpool are prepared to listen to offers for the striker, although they would expect a fee of around £25m.
“Daniel had some problems, not serious, but could not make a session and we had to wait a day,” Klopp said last week.
“It is how a pre-season can be. Some little things happen and we have to handle this. It is not a row of sessions and we say ‘Now we are here and go…’
“When he is fit, we will pick him, but at this moment because he didn’t have one session with the team he’s not available.”
For balance, we should say that the report comes from Steve Stammers, whose recent record isn’t exactly perfect.
