Jurgen Klopp has offered the latest update with regards to the fitness of Liverpool forward Philippe Coutinho.
It was reported on Friday that Coutinho would miss the club’s Premier League fixture with Huddersfield on Saturday, and was a doubt for subsequent games against Maribor and West Ham.
The Brazilian, who missed the start of the season through injury and a broken heart after being denied a move to Barcelona, has been one of the club’s better players this season.
Klopp offered hope to Liverpool fans after declaring that nothing was confirmed over his absence.
“It’s not clear yet,” he said.
“Last week he had some back problems. During the week it settled with treatment. Now he has a problem with the abductor.
“It’s not clear whether he’s out for tomorrow. We’ll make the decision after training today.
“He missed training yesterday but that’s all at the moment.”
