Klopp thought Robertson had left his crosses in Scotland

Jurgen Klopp aimed a cheeky dig at Andrew Robertson after Liverpool thrashed Porto on Wednesday.

The Reds put on a clinic of counter-attacking football as they swept the Portuguese side aside in the Champions League last-16. Could they win the whole bloody thing?

Sadio Mane stole the plaudits with a hat-trick, while fellow forwards Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino rounded off the goals.

But Klopp saw fit to put the spotlight on Robertson after another impressive showing at left-back.

The Scotland international created three chances and had 94 touches all game, adding another dimension to the attack.

“I saw a lot of fantastic performances tonight,” Klopp told BT Sport.

“To be honest I think Robbo played an outstanding game and got his crosses back, I thought they’d gone to Scotland or somewhere!”
