Jurgen Klopp rued Liverpool’s performance during their 3-0 defeat to Watford on Sunday.
Defeat left Klopp’s side in ninth place heading into Christmas, and without a win in three league games.
Odion Ighalo scored twice after Adam Bogdan’s mistake had allowed Nathan Ake to score the opening goal.
“I would say it’s the most disappointing moment in my Liverpool life,” said Klopp after the game.
“Of course the first ball from Adam Bogdan, he should keep and he drops it. Having seen it again usually it is a foul but it is 1-0 and our reaction was really bad.
“We lost our mind and stopped playing football. The second goal was very easy, we can defend this better. We tried a bit in the first half and changed a bit half-time, the start to the second half was very good, we could have scored two goals, but we didn’t and then the third goal. Yeah, game over.
“After Man City everybody thought ‘wow’. That was one side. Today we saw another side. I know how strong this team can be. Today was really bad, but overall it’s not so bad. You have to react better, that’s what we have to work on.
“If you stop asking about it, maybe I can start working on fixing it! I know how strong this team can be. The result was very bad and very disappointed about reaction.”
Liverpool have amassed 12 points since Jurgen Klopp took over, Man United 13 in the same period, and Leicester City have managed 23.
