Leicester have signed Callum Wright from Blackburn for an undisclosed fee.
The 17-year-old winger has penned a professional deal until 2021 at the Foxes having scored four goals in 10 games for Rovers’ Under-23s this season.
He was previously on the books at Tranmere and Everton and signed a two-year scholarship at Ewood Park in 2016.
Rovers’ academy manager Stuart Jones told the club’s website: “Ultimately, we did everything we could to try and keep Callum, but the situation was taken out of our hands when Premier League clubs became interested.
“He’s a young player and when Premier League clubs came calling, both he and his family were keen to move on.”
