N’Golo Kante has been ruled out of Leicester’s next two games with a hamstring injury and will be replaced by Andy King.
The midfielder came off in the second half of Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Norwich and boss Claudio Ranieri does not expect to have him available to face West Brom on Tuesday or Watford on Saturday.
“We will lose him for the next two matches but I hope it is only for two,” said Leicester boss Ranieri, who still claims that Tottenham are the favourites for the title.
“He has a little problem with his hamstring. He has suffered all the season but now we want him to give him some rest, but I think after two matches he will be able to restart.
“All the season he had a problem to his other leg but now this is a problem in his other leg. Maybe he over compensated and charged too much.
“Fortunately, it is nothing serious.
“I am very confident because we play Andy King with Danny Drinkwater and every time I put King in the team he has been excellent.”
