Timo Werner has no release clause at RB Leipzig, who are “completely relaxed” over his future.
Werner joined the Bundesliga club in June 2016, and has scored 25 goals in 36 games since, including four in four this season.
The German forward has been linked with a move to Liverpool previously, and is now a reported target for Real Madrid.
Leipzig chairman Oliver Mintzlaff insists the club are “completely relaxed” over speculation, however.
“He has a contract until 2020 and he feels at home here,” Mintzlaff told Sky Germany, before confirming he had no release clause.
“We are playing in the Champions League. With this, we can offer Timo everything to continue his development here.
“We are completely relaxed. Here, he has the perfect platform.”
