Juventus will make an offer of £31m for Liverpool’s Emre Can, according to reports in Italy.
Tuttosport’s front page on Sunday claims that Juventus will make a bid for Can, and that the player is game for the move.
Can’s contract expires next summer with a new deal not signed, but there had been reports that Liverpool were confident Can would stay.
However, it now appears that Can might be Juventus’ heir to Sami Khedira in a holding midfield role.
Liverpool are already trying to fend off interest from Barcelona in Philippe Coutinho, and could do without another key player being targeted.
Can is not a guaranteed starter for Liverpool but, like Eric Dier at Tottenham, is useful in a number of positions in defence and midfield.
