Liverpool outcast Mario Balotelli has met with Jose Mourinho to seek out career advice from his former manager, according to reports.
Balotelli played under Mourinho at Inter Milan, where the duo endured a somewhat turbulent relationship.
But with the the striker seemingly frozen out at Liverpool – and his reputation as a “world class talent” having taken a kicking – the Italy international has sought out advice from the Manchester United manager.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, as cited by the Daily Express, Mourinho has advised Balotelli to change his attitude and lower his wage demands.
A number of clubs, including Chievo and Besiktas, have been linked with a move for the 26-year-old, although Reds boss Jurgen Klopp insists he will not be sold cheaply.
