Liverpool striker target Timo Werner has been targeted by Real Madrid after a blistering start to the season.
The German has scored four goals for RB Leipzig already this season, after starting his international career with six goals from eight games.
He scored 26 goals in all competitions last season so there is little surprise that Sport 1 claim that Real Madrid are interested.
That is backed up by a front-page report in Spanish newspaper AS, leaving nobody in any doubt that Madrid see Werner as an option.
Sorry Liverpool, but we cannot see you winning this battle and teaming Werner with Naby Keita once again.
