Liverpool will complete the signing of Hull left-back Andy Robertson this week for an initial £8m before turning their attentions to the sale of Alberto Moreno for £15m.
Scottish full-back Robertson will undergo a Liverpool medical on Merseyside on Thursday before completing a move that could eventually cost Liverpoiol an extra £2m.
Kevin Stewart is expected to make the switch in the opposite direction for roughly the same fee, which would be a phenomenal piece of business for the Reds.
The Liverpool Echo write of Robertson: ‘His arrival is likely to trigger the departure of Spaniard Alberto Moreno , who Liverpool are hoping to sell for around £15million.’
With #LFC closing in on Andy Robertson here's a refreshing thought.
Alberto Moreno will be sold & never play for the club again..
