Lukaku: A lot of good players will come in next season
Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has insisted that the club will make more big signings in the coming summer.
The Belgian scored the opener for the Red Devils as they reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup with a 2-0 win over Brighton.
However, manager Jose Mourinho was critical of his side’s performance, singling out Scott McTominay and Luke Shaw for their showing.
Lukaku believes that the Portuguese is not entirely happy with his squad, and that signings will follow in the summer.
“We are Manchester United, we have to improve every year and I know that a lot of players, a lot of good players, will come in next season. That’s for sure,” Lukaku said after the game.
“That is something I look forward to, in order to improve the squad, and what the manager also looks forward to because next year we have to win.
“We will have to try and win as many trophies as we can.”
