Luke Shaw will reportedly return to training next month and has targeted a return for Manchester United this season.
The Daily Telegraph claim that the left-back ‘is continuing to make good progress in his rehabilitation at Carrington and a first-team return in the final weeks has not been ruled out’.
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal named Shaw in his Europa League squad in January despite his double leg fracture in September; the final is on May 18 in Basle.
England manager Roy Hodgson has hinted that Shaw could still go to Euro 2016 with England, though ‘it is thought unlikely at this stage that the left-back will be fully fit for international duty’.
He was invited to a squad get-together last month but opted to remain at Carrington and continue his rehabilitation.
