Man City £10m short on Tottenham’s Walker – reports

Manchester City are still £10m short of Tottenham’s valuation of Kyle Walker, leaving the player ‘uncertain about his future’.

The England right-back wants to leave Spurs for City, who will double his £70,000-a-week wages, but City – according to the Evening Standard – have so far stalled at £40m.

Walker’s transfer is still expected to go ahead, but the Standard say ‘it may take until close the end of the transfer window to complete a deal’. City currently have no right-backs after releasing Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta, and failing to sign Dani Alves from Juventus.

Tottenham are said to be willing to sell Walker but will stand firm on Eric Dier, a £50m target for Manchester United.
