Manchester United are not interested in selling Ander Herrera, but they could start talking at £60m, according to The Independent.
They claim that United have not had any contact with Barcelona despite reports in Spain that they are interested in the former Athletic Bilbao midfielder.
Herrera was Manchester United’s player of the season so they are unlikely to make him available for the £35.2m mentioned in Spanish newspaper Sport on Thursday.
Sport had suggested that Herrera was a Plan B should they fail to land Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti.
As the Independent say: ‘United will refuse to sell at that cost and it would take a bid of around £60m for them to even consider the deal for a player they see as a future captain of the team.’
Barca interest understandable but told Ander Herrera remains 'very happy' at #mufc and intent on staying. Grateful for Mourinho's impact.
