Merse, Le Tiss and more predict who’ll miss out on top four

Four Sky Sports pundits have made their predictions as to who will finish in the Premier League’s top four and who will miss out.

Manchester City currently lead the way in the Premier League with 62 points from 23 games.

Manchester United are 12 points behind in second, while Liverpool and Chelsea are three points further back in third and fourth respectively.

Tottenham are another three points behind both Liverpool and Chelsea, while Arsenal are not very good and are five points behind their north London rivals.

Paul Merson, Phil Thompson, Charlie Nicholas and Matt Le Tissier each believe the Gunners will finish sixth this season.

Nicholas describes this season as a ‘write off’ for Arsenal, while Merson says they are ‘nowhere near good enough and are going to lose their best player’.

Each also have City winning the league, but Merson and Le Tissier have United in second, with Thompson and Nicholas backing Liverpool to finish as runners-up.

Merson, Nicolas and Le Tissier all feel that Chelsea will join Arsenal in missing out on the Champions League, with the reigning champions backed to finish fifth. Thompson is the odd one out, predicting Tottenham to miss out.
