Abdou was absent from the side which came from behind to beat Shrewsbury 2-1 on Saturday due to a hamstring problem.
Left-back Joe Martin and striker Aiden O’Brien will miss out again with the ankle injuries they suffered during pre-season, and winger Carlos Edwards is not ready to return from a long-term knee injury.
Sid Nelson, Shane Ferguson, Paris Cowan-Hall and John Marquis are pushing for starts should Neil Harris opt to shuffle his pack, although the Lions boss said there will not be wholesale changes.
In contrast, Barnet manager Martin Allen has promised to shake up his team.
Allen’s men lost 2-0 to League Two rivals Leyton Orient on Saturday, and he said: “I’ll make changes to the team on Tuesday night and freshen it up.
“Some players deserve to play, after what has been a fantastic pre-season for us.”
Striker Kevin Lisbie is not expected to be available against his former team, while a late decision is expected on fellow former Millwall striker Shaun Batt, who pulled out of Saturday’s defeat with a tight calf suffered while warming up.
