MK Dons v Wimbledon preview

MK Dons have no new injury concerns ahead of the visit of AFC Wimbledon in the Capital One Cup.
However, manager Karl Robinson is expected to make changes to his starting line-up for the first-round tie despite beginning the season with a 4-2 home win over Gillingham on Saturday.
Benik Afobe, Tom Flanagan, Mark Randall, Daniel Powell, George Baldock and Tom Hitchcock all began on the bench against the Gills and are options for Robinson.
Samir Carruthers’ wait to make his first appearance for the Dons since making a permanent move to Milton Keynes may be prolonged as the midfielder is still nursing a thigh strain.
AFC Wimbledon manager Neal Ardley has confirmed defender Adam Barrett will miss the tie at stadium:mk.
Barrett, who made his debut for the club in their draw with Shrewsbury on Saturday, is on loan from Gillingham and is ineligible to play.
Captain Alan Bennett could also miss the clash.
The 32-year-old was stretchered off in the Shrewsbury match with a head wound which required stitches and Ardley said he would be assessed.
