Henrikh Mkhitaryan is expected to complete his move to Manchester United on Wednesday.
Jose Mourinho has already made two signings since being appointed as United boss, with Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic both arriving at Old Trafford.
The new manager let slip in his press conference on Tuesday that a third recruit was imminent, with Mkhitaryan expected in Manchester on Wednesday.
United agreed a £26.3million fee with Dortmund for the 27-year-old and a deal over personal terms is also said to have been struck.
Mkhitaryan will now undergo a medical at United’s Carrington training complex before joining United, who start pre-season training on Thursday.
