Morata ‘remains firm’ on Man United despite no offer

Alvaro Morata ‘has not changed his mind’ about joining Manchester United despite the trail appearing to go cold.

The Real Madrid striker ‘remains firm’ on the idea of leaving the club, according to the latest report in Marca, though president Florentino Perez claims there have been no offers.

He also said: “No one at the club wants Morata to leave and I haven’t heard the player asking to leave.”

But there have long been reports that Morata has already agreed a contract with Manchester United, and that he is in regular contact with Jose Mourinho.

Now Marca claim: ‘He remains firm in his idea of changing teams. The striker has not changed his mind and is still waiting for Manchester United to make a firm offer.’

And yes, the Spanish for ‘firm’ is ‘firme’.
