Mourinho ‘blasted’ Shaw after Bournemouth game – report

Jose Mourinho berated Luke Shaw for talking to Bournemouth players after a fiery draw with Manchester United in March.

United and Bournemouth played out a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on March 4, with Tyrone Mings and Zlatan Ibrahimovic engaging in a notable battle throughout.

Mings was banned for five games for stamping on Ibrahimovic’s head, while the Swede was suspended for three after elbowing the defender in retaliation.

The competitive nature of the clash was a bone of contention for Mourinho, who watched his side drop more points in the race for the top four.

But according to The Sun, it was Shaw who was the subject of the United manager’s ire after the game.

Neil Ashton claims that the Portuguese ‘tore into’ the left-back for speaking to Bournemouth players.

That was Shaw’s first Premier League start for the club since October, and he has not made a single appearance in any competition since.
