Mourinho: Will Griezmann come to United? Ask Ed Woodward

Jose Mourinho admitted he has “no idea” if Manchester United will sign Antoine Griezmann this summer.

The Portuguese boss has stated that all the summer transfer dealings at United are the business of vice-president Ed Woodward.

Griezmann recently dismissed reports he has already agreed to leave this summer but stopped short of committing his future to the club.

Now, the 54-year-old United manager claimed the summer market is out of his hands, but did admit he does have a list of targets.

“I have no idea if Antoine Griezmann will come to United. Ask Ed Woodward. He knows since March who I want, what I want and how much I want,” Mourinho told Sky Sports in Monaco.

“Now is for him to work. It’s for him to work because he has holidays in August and in August I’m working.

“I don’t care about football for a month. I’m really happy with our season, the trophies, to be back in Champions League but now I have a rest, to disconnect completely and enjoy my family and friends and other sports I like.”
