CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa has spoken out concerning links with Manchester United and Leicester.

It was reported this week that Leicester had had a £15million offer for Musa rejected by CSKA, who are looking for £19million.

It has since been claimed that United have also opened talks with the 23-year-old’s representatives, speculation which the Nigeria forward has welcomed.

Asked by Russian newspaper R Sport whether he was happy to be linked with the Premier League clubs, Musa said: “Of course, I am very pleased to hear that.

“I would like to test myself in a strong championship, but it will happen when it should happen.

“CSKA decides everything that will happen, our leadership will decide. If they agree on something, so I’ll go, then I move on, and if they consider that I stay, I will stay with pleasure.”

Musa has scored 10 goals in 29 appearances for CSKA this season, plus 11 goals in 56 games for Nigeria.
