Nainggolan to earn £10m a year in China
Former Chelsea and Man United target Radja Nainggolan is set to join Guangzhou Evergrande – initially on loan.
The Roma midfielder was not included in their first Serie A game of 2018 after posting a video of himself drinking and smoking on New Year’s Eve.
According to Sky: ‘Reports that an official bid of £44m has been received from the Chinese club are not accurate, and it is thought a permanent deal is more likely in the summer.’
Nainggolan has not played for Belgium this season so presumably does not see a move to China as being detrimental to his World Cup chances.
The 29-year-old would join Guangzhou Evergrande – the current Chinese champions – in time for next month’s Asian Champions League ties. They are managed by Fabio Cannavaro.
