The Robins will be more than keen to pick up all three points against one of the ‘glamour’ sides in League One and victory would represent a reasonable start to their season following a heavy defeat at Gillingham, a convincing cup victory at MK Dons and a 0-0 draw against Paul Ince’s side at the weekend.
On-loan Bolton striker Tope Obadeyi made his debut from the bench on Saturday and he could be given the nod from the off this time around.
Winger Alan O’Brien was a surprise second-half substitute against the Dons having struggled of late with an ankle problem and he could also start.
Long-term absentees Hasney Aljofree (knee), Lee Peacock (back) and Kurt Hammonds are all progressing well from their injuries.
No new injuries for Robins boss
