Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that he has a “certain weakness” for Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane.
Pochettino will pit his wits against Real boss Zidane in the Champions League in midweek, hoping to strengthen their hopes of advancing from the group stage.
Both sides have won both of their games thus far, and so something will have to give at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday.
Ahead of the game, Pochettino has discussed his intense admiration for Zidane, both as a manager and as a player.
“Madrid have been the best team in the world in the last few years,” he told beIN Sports.
“They’ve proved that and, honestly, I have a certain weakness for Zinedine Zidane, as a footballer and now.
“Of course, we’ll try to use our weapons to play a good game and to win, because we’re going there to win.”
