Mauricio Pochettino has once again denied that he has a problem with Tottenham left-back Danny Rose.
Rose has featured sparsely this season, having missed the first month or so with an injury.
But the England international has not retained his starting place on return as expected, and has often had to settle for a place out of the matchday squad.
Rose was left “fuming” after not even being on the bench for the club’s north London derby defeat earlier this month.
He was once again omitted from the squad in the 1-1 draw against West Brom, but Pochettino dismissed any fears.
“Like any other player, it’s not easy,” the manager said of the decision.
When asked whether Rose had picked up an injury, he replied: “No, he was just training, like any other week.”
Maybe Pochettino will now realize it’s time to make Rose and Aurier the primary wing backs..
