Mauricio Pochettino discussed the “massive potential” at Spurs after they cruised to a deserved 4-1 victory over Manchester City.
Eric Dier, Toby Alderweireld, Harry Kane and Erik Lamela all scored as Spurs continued their impressive recent form, climbing to fifth after beating this season’s runaway Premier League leaders at White Hart Lane.
Spurs were full value for their victory after recovering from one goal down in the first half, and Pochettino praised his side after the game.
“We are very pleased and very happy,” Pochettino said.
“We have big potential, we are very young. I think that today was the youngest team and this is important.
Spurs fielded the youngest team in the Premier League this season against Man City with an average age of 24 years and 40 days.

“The potential is massive but we need to keep the feet on the grass because you know always after a big win you need to keep your feet on the grass,” the Spurs manager added.
“Now, this is our tough job but I am very pleased with the result. We can discuss different things but in the end I think we fully deserved the victory.”
