Football will witness its first £200m transfer within four years, according to Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola.

Pogba was widely predicted to become the first-ever £100m footballer this summer as he edged towards his exit from Juventus.

The Frenchman eventually left Italy to join Manchester United for ‘just’ £89.3m however.

The agent who brokered the deal, Raiola, has predicted that not only will football see a £100m deal soon, but a £200m deal will occur before 2020.

“How the economy is evolving, especially in the Premier League, we will not be far away – within three or four years – from a £200m deal,” he told talkSPORT.

“I even think that maybe within two or three years that can happen.

“They will probably be Brazilian, because they add something special. A wonder child like the new Neymar or the new Messi for sure will make £200m.”
