Paul Pogba’s protracted move to Manchester United has been ‘paralysed’ over the Frenchman’s indecision, according to reports.
United remain favourites to sign Pogba this summer – despite the midfielder reportedly favouring a move to Real Madrid – but the transfer has again stalled.
According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, has agreed the deal and all its formalities with United, and is waiting for the player’s consent.
However, Pogba remains indecisive over the move, rendering the deal, in Marca’s words, ‘paralysed’.
‘The Frenchman does not know where to play next season,’ they add, leaving the three clubs involved uncertain as to the 23-year-old’s future.
The Sun provide a different line, and they claim that Raiola is demanding £25million for brokering the proposed nine-figure deal. The agent and United have agreed for both clubs to pay 50% each, but Juventus are refusing to agree.
The report also claims that Juventus believe Raiola has constructed the move purely for his own personal gain.
Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri is growing tired of the Pogba discussion, stating during their pre-season tour of Australia: “I am not going to talk about the transfer market news.”
