Pope sidelined for two-months

Pope will be forced to miss a good chunk of the season after he sustained an ankle injury in Saturday’s 3-1 win at Macclesfield and he could be replaced by either Kevin Ellison or Ryan Taylor.
Manager Mark Robins was pleased to see captain Ian Sharps come through the Macclesfield game unscathed following a back injury but he could be rested if Robins decides to make full use of his squad.
Adam Le Fondre (groin) and Paul Warne (toe) both played important roles against the Silkmen, and they are now fully-fit and will be available one again.
The Millers will be looking to go one step further in this year’s competition after reaching the Area Final stage last season.
