Preston v Sheffield Utd preview

Preston boss Simon Grayson could shuffle his pack again for Sheffield United’s visit to Deepdale for a clash between two in-form teams.
The North End boss left the likes of midfielder Neil Kilkenny, on-loan striker Craig Davies and defender Scott Wiseman on the bench for the 1-1 draw with Stevenage in midweek.
There are no injuries in the Lilywhites’ camp, with John Welsh and Bailey Wright both having returned for the last game, and the extended weekend will give time for players to recover from any minor knocks.
Preston are unbeaten in 11 League One games and face a Blades outfit who have won 10 straight games in all competitions.
Sheffield United manager Nigel Clough could make several changes with Stefan Scougall, Ryan Flynn and Jose Baxter doubtful for Monday’s game at Preston.
Midfielders Scougall and Flynn and striker Baxter were all forced out of Wednesday night’s home win against Carlisle with knocks as the Blades registered their 10th straight win in all competitions.
Clough made only one change from the side that secured the club’s place in the FA Cup semi-finals last Sunday, with defender Ben Davies returning to the starting line-up.
On-loan Derby defender Kieron Freeman could make his first start, while strikers Chris Porter, Billy Paynter and Shaun Miller, defender Matt Hill and midfielder Stephen McGinn are all in contention.
