Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc says he is “annoyed” with reported Arsenal target Adrien Rabiot.
The 20-year-old defensive midfielder requested a loan move over the weekend and boss Blanc has reacted angrily.
“It annoys me,” said Blanc. “I don’t want to say anymore and I’m going to concentrate on tomorrow’s match.
“Adrien has to understand that when you have the possibility of going at the end of your contract and to leave for free, you can do it.
“Otherwise, when you sign a contract of five years with PSG, you have to respect your first club.”
Rabiot was believed to be a target for Arsene Wenger in the summer and now with the injuries to midfielders Francis Coquelin and Santo Cazorla the holding midfielder is reportedly back on Wenger’s radar.
Rabiot, who signed a long-term contract in October 2014 that ties him to the Ligue 1 club until 2019, has featured 14 times for PSG this season in the absence of Marco Verratti. However, Rabiot who is aiming for a place in Dider Deschamps Euro 2016 squad, is expecting his game time to be limited once Verratti returns.
The Italy international suffered an ankle injury in early November, but he is believed to be closing in on a return to action and Rabiot has been proactive in asking for a temporary move.
